So with the recent tumblr ToS changes it's probably not a surprise that I'm considering uploading my less-than-safe-for-work stuff here
What I'm not sure about is whether I should upload it here with the rest of my stuff or if I should I make a separate account
Any thoughts?
Yeah, Newgrounds can handle it. Both the site and the people. =P

upload it here, we can always filter it if we don't want to see the NSFW stuff anyway
Ratings are a toggle right at the top of the gallery, so it'd be super easy to filter. Between that and the thumbnails, you're good.
Newgrounds has that thumbnail feature, it'll keep things tidy a bit.

You should upload it here, I'm fairly sure there's filters and thumbnails show the rating of the art/game/movie anyway.
